Chichester and back to London
We have had two nights in Chichester and will head to Windsor in the morning, probably via Winchester. Need to drop our luggage to Aidan tomorrow afternoon so that we only have our Camino packs to take with us on the flight to Lisbon on Tuesday.
The cathedral spire can be seen in the far distance.
We had lunch at The Nags Head with Erin's friend Tania who lives in Chichester. Steve and I then went for a long walk along the canal path while Erin, Brian and Tania explored the city.
As you can see, not very warm at the statue of St Richard outside Chichester Cathedral. It was 5pm though.

Monday 30th, we went to Winchester cathedral on our way up to Windsor. I wanted to see the embroidered kneelers, cushions, frontal altar, etc that are one of the things the cathedral is famous for.
Who should we run into but Jenny and Rosanne.
So nice to meet such good friends so far from home. A lovely surprise.Had Monday 30th at Windsor staying at the Royal Adelaide. Steve and I dropped our extra luggage to Aidan's flat at Whitechapel and after a morning walk on the Long Walk we headed to Heathrow. Erin and Brian flew to Budapest and we flew to Lisbon. These travel days are long and fairly boring.
A mouse provided a bit of excitement by running under our luggage trolley at cafe nero at terminal 5. A cafe staff member caught it in her hands. Didn't put us off our coffee and sandwich.
