Saturday in Liverpool

Saturday 13 August. Another sunny day in Liverpool.

Morning Ferry across the Mersey. A seal swam alongside us for a short time. Thought it was a log until it flicked up its tail and dived under. Amazing.

Peter and Shelagh drove down from Garstang and met us for lunch and a visit to The Globe for a drink where they went on their first date. It was great to catch up.

Dinner at the Royal Philharmonic famous for its pink marble toilets apparently. The picture below is the Chinese Gate that we passed on our evening walk home.

  1. Looks like you are enjoying some lovely weather. We've had some nice sunny days here but the temperature is still only about 12 degrees. Look forward to following your journey. Erin x
